Cookies
This site uses a small number of essential cookies. No analytics. No advertising. No third-party tracking pixels.
What we set
The site sets two first-party cookies:
ha_session— a short-lived session cookie used to hold the form state while you move between the recharge page and the billing page. It expires when you close the browser tab.ha_cookie_ack— remembers that you have dismissed the cookie banner, so it does not appear on every page. Lasts up to 6 months.
Both are first-party and set by abudhabidesk.org. Neither contains personal information about you — they hold short opaque strings.
What we do not set
- No Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel or any other third-party analytics or advertising script.
- No cross-site tracking cookies.
- No fingerprinting scripts.
- No affiliate or retargeting tags.
The billing page (a separate step in the payment flow) may set its own cookies as required to process the card payment. Those cookies come from the payment processor's own domain, follow their own policy, and are strictly necessary for the transaction.
How to disable cookies
You can disable cookies in every modern browser. The paths differ by browser, but the general routes are:
- Chrome — Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies, or open the padlock icon on this page and adjust Cookies.
- Safari — Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data, or Safari → Preferences → Privacy on macOS.
- Firefox — Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data.
- Edge — Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Manage and delete cookies.
If you block cookies entirely, the site will still show and the recharge form will still submit, but the cookie banner may reappear on every visit because the acknowledgement can no longer be remembered.
Changes
If we ever add another cookie — for example, a language preference — it will be listed here first. Material changes are noted on the changelog.
