Terms of use

Terms of use

Plain terms for a plain product. By using this site to top up a Hafilat card you agree to what is written below.

1. Who we are

AbuDhabiDesk (referred to as we, us or the site) is operated by Al Danah Digital Services FZ-LLC, a company registered in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. We are an independent online desk. We are not the transport operator, we are not the Integrated Transport Centre and we are not affiliated with any government authority.

2. What the service does

The site offers two things:

  • A Hafilat card recharge — a three-field form (card number, amount, email) that continues to a billing page where you pay by card. Once the payment clears, the balance is added to the Hafilat card.
  • An optional balance-check tool — a lookup that shows a balance figure for a given card number. It is a convenience feature and is not a payment.

We do not sell physical Hafilat cards, we do not replace lost cards and we do not manage concession categories. Anything of that kind is done through the transport operator's own channels.

3. Your responsibilities

When you use the site, you agree that:

  • The 16-digit Hafilat card number you enter belongs to the card you want to top up, and you have double-checked it before continuing.
  • The email address you enter is valid and yours to receive the receipt.
  • The payment card you use on the billing page is yours, or you have the cardholder's permission to use it.
  • You use the site for a personal top-up, not for wholesale reselling, automated scraping or any activity intended to test or bypass fraud controls.

4. Payment

All amounts are in AED. The value shown on the billing page is what is charged — no service fee is added on top of your chosen top-up amount. If your payment card is in another currency, your bank may apply its own foreign-exchange rate; that is between you and your bank.

The card form lives on our billing page and posts to our payment processor. Your bank may add a 3-D Secure step to confirm the payment. If the bank declines, your card is not charged and no order is created.

5. Refunds

Refund rules — eligible cases, cases outside our control, how to request a refund and typical timelines — are set out in the refund policy, which forms part of these terms.

6. Limitation of liability

The service is provided as-is. To the extent permitted by applicable UAE law, our maximum liability for any claim connected to a single order is limited to the AED amount of that order. We are not liable for indirect losses such as missed journeys, missed appointments, currency movement, or third-party service outages (your bank, your mobile network, the transport operator's back-office).

Nothing in these terms excludes any right you have under mandatory consumer-protection rules in the UAE.

7. Availability

We aim to keep the site available around the clock, but maintenance, upstream outages and network issues can interrupt service. If a recharge cannot be completed, the payment is not taken; if it is taken and cannot be loaded, refer to the refund policy.

8. Intellectual property

The site design, copy, illustrations and code belong to Al Danah Digital Services FZ-LLC. Third-party names, marks and card brand logos remain with their respective owners; they are used only to describe the service.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and the applicable federal laws in force. Disputes that cannot be resolved directly with support will be handled by the competent courts of Abu Dhabi.

10. Changes

We may update these terms over time. The date on the page is the last update; small edits are made without notice, and material changes will be flagged on the changelog. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated version.

11. Contact

Questions about these terms can be sent to support@abudhabidesk.org or WhatsApp +971 50 812 4593 during business hours (Mon–Sat, 09:00–20:00 GST).
